The Brenda Photo Challenge (9-4-10) Photo Essay

Hello Everyone! Iknow, I know...I'm late! August has been a Crazy Month for me! About the time I get One thing taken care of...Another pops up! Geez!!Lolol....SO Anyway, we all really enjoyed the last Challenge! Thanks Crystal for the Theme, Dirt! But it's now time to move forward with the NEXT Theme! It is presented by The Brenda Photo Challenge's Inspiration, Brenda of What's Up Down South. This is something a Bit different. I think a bit more challenging. I'll let you read her email to me. I think she explains it best:

Donna,
I wanted to tell you about something I've been pondering and mulling over for the challenge. This could be done in two weeks or we could use a longer time frame in which to prepare (I actually think allowing only 2 weeks would make it even more interesting though).
My idea is to do a Photo Essay for the challenge. What do you think?

Some information on Photo Essays: A photo essay (or "photographic essay") is a set or series of photographs that are intended to tell a story or evoke a series of emotions in the viewer.
A photo essay will often show pictures in deep emotional stages.
Photo essays range from purely photographic works to photographs with captions or small notes to full text essays with a few or many accompanying photographs.
Choose anything that can be tied together by the sum of its parts, but not something so big that it becomes overwhelming. For example, you could create a photo essay about your home, your city, the local zoo, a person, or an event. Limit yourself to telling your story using fewer than 8 to 10 pictures.
An example of a wonderful essayist that I've enjoyed over and over again was Walker Evans, I know you've seen his work here and there. He published a photo essay in the form of a book about the Great Depression. It was awesome!

Today is Aug 17th SO, I'm signing in NOW because I KNOW I will be posting my photos by the 4th of Sept! This gives me OVER THREE WEEKS to figure out what my photos will be! There always seems to be confusion on this and I just can't answer it any better than I already have...

THEN, Write down somewhere that you signed up to participate in the Brenda Photo Challenge...That way You'll Remember! This should be another Interesting one! I can't Wait to see what You come up with! Just remember though... This is about having FUN! No Pressure! Anyone can enter!
I will leave the older Challenge up on the blog for a while, so newcomers can see your photos as well. I will also extend the Entry date through the Due date so late comers can enter.
You already have THREE weeks to get your Names entered...Your photos ARE NOT due at the time you ENTER the Challenge. Entering your name just assures you a spot!
